Unlock a Free, High-Speed Virtual Computer from Google

By 10xdev team July 24, 2025

If you want to get a fast virtual computer for free—without registration or any bank card—this article will show you how to access one directly from Google. You can do whatever you want in it, wherever you want, whenever you want.

Blazing-Fast Speeds and Powerful Specs

The internet speed can reach over 4 Gigs, and it functions as a complete operating system where you can download what you need. It comes pre-loaded with tools like Android Studio for those interested.

The machine boasts impressive resources: - RAM: Over 60GB of RAM is available. - Storage: It has enough space to download and manage large projects.

To demonstrate the speed, consider downloading a large file, such as a Linux distribution of several gigabytes. A download that would typically take much longer can be completed in just a few moments.

Step-by-Step: How to Access Your Cloud Computer

Getting this virtual machine is very easy.

  1. Navigate to the Website: Go to the Project IDX website from Google.
  2. Log In: You might be asked to log in with your Google account. This service is part of Google, so it is safe to proceed.
  3. Start a New Project: The site is a tool for creating programs and applications using Artificial Intelligence. On the main page, look for the "Android Studio Cloud" program icon and click on it.
  4. Name Your Workspace: You'll be prompted to name your program or project. This step is a gateway; while it seems like you are starting an Android Studio project, you are actually gaining access to the underlying virtual machine. Enter a test name and continue.
  5. Launch the Environment: Wait a little as the system creates your virtual machine at Google. Once it's ready, it will launch directly in your browser.

Note: Access may be region-dependent. If you encounter an error message, using a VPN set to a different region (e.g., a European country like Spain) may resolve the issue.

Once the program loads, you can either use it or exit it completely to use the underlying operating system. You can download programs and use it as your own high-powered computer. To maximize the screen for a better experience, click the button on the left and then select the two arrows to enter full-screen mode.

The virtual machine is a Google Cloud platform instance. In our test, the machine was located in Virginia, USA, providing the same amazing speed. You can use this power to create pages, grow accounts, and perform other intensive tasks.

Persistent Storage: Your Work is Saved

To confirm that your work persists across sessions, you can create a few test files in the environment. After creating them, you can completely exit the session by closing the browser tab.

When you return to the site, you will find your project listed. Simply click on it to re-enter the environment. Upon checking the file system, you will see that the files you created are still there. This means you can exit, turn off your computer, and return a day or two later to find your work exactly as you left it. You can leave it running or shut it down, and your data will be preserved.
